As a very successful entrepreneur and business owner, Ted Beverley brings a unique perspective to the real estate industry. He understands the necessity of meeting the needs of both buyer and seller in order to have a successful transaction. He works strenuously for his clients, and based on his 25 years of contract negotiation experience, believes it is in everyone's best interest to have a cooperative buyer/seller relationship. Ted prides himself on his ability to work with other realtors, and feels this directly benefits his clients. His results have been exceptional: last year he sold more real estate than 98% of the agents in the metropolitan area.

Ted studied at Johns Hopkins University, worked in Alaska as a geophysicist, and spent a year in Europe. He founded the Beverley Ice Company in 1973; when he sold it 20 years later, it had grown to totally dominate its field. While there, he honed his technical and engineering skills and earned a master's license in HVAC. In addition to designing and building high-tech mechanical systems, he learned and developed many sophisticated techniques required for contemporary marketing, and came to understand the importance of proper asset evaluation, the time, cost of money, changing markets and demographic trends. These experiences have made Ted an extraordinarily qualified real estate professional.

With his wife and two children, Ted has lived in Kenwood in Chevy Chase since 1978. He owns and farms 550 acres in upper Montgomery County. His favorite hobbies include travel, opera, furniture design and skiing. Last summer he rode his bike solo across the country.
