Lynn Bulmer began her professional career as a grain trader for a major New York commodities firm. She transferred the skills learned in commodities trading into the field of banking and finance with a British merchant bank where she started as a money market and bank securities trader and was promoted as a corporate lending officer. Lynn was also the youngest member of the bank's credit review committee. Lynn says " The experience I gained while working in New York has been invaluable to me in selling real estate. Trading requires quick thinking under pressure, and banking gave me an understanding of how a bank funds itself and lends money. But the best lessons learned were how to build a solid client base and provide exceptional service."

Lynn moved to Washington in 1983 to work as an international business consultant where she completed projects in market analysis, pricing assessments, competitive product review and investment promotion spanning eight Caribbean countries as well as the Middle and Far East. "Much of my international consulting took place overseas which required patience, perseverance and strong communication skills to bring disparate views to mutual agreement."

Lynn received her BA from Southern Illinois University and an MA and MBA from New York University. She, her husband and three children have lived in their home on 32nd Street in Woodley Park for the past 20 years. "I love my neighborhood" Lynn says "and I enjoy helping people buy and sell real estate. All my past experience and education comes into play. It's a very challenging and rewarding job."
