Geoff Clopton Jr. is a native Washingtonian and has been licensed in Maryland, DC and Virginia since 2003.  Geoff is teamed with his parents Diana and Geoff Sr; with a combined experience of over 65 years of real estate expertise. 

Geoff’s early career began in the restaurant industry.  Along with three other partners Geoff started up The Cottage Café, a restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland which opened in the summer of 1993.  The success of The Cottage Café led us to establish a three location chain along the DE and MD shores; including Bethany Beach and Salisbury.  This entrepreneurial experience helped him gain valuable sales and management experience. 

After his years in the restaurant business, Geoff returned to Washington for a new career.   In 2002, Geoff joined Congresswoman Connie Morella’s campaign staff as her volunteer coordinator.  That was a busy campaign season of late nights, rallies, appearances, debates and coordinating the efforts of hundreds of volunteers.  It was a thrilling and exciting time to be closely involved with the political process.  After the campaign wound down it was time for another transition.

Geoff turned to the “family business” and after quickly obtaining his real estate license, joined the Randall Hagner Company and in February 2009 joined Evers and Co.  Geoff’s market knowledge extends from Capitol Hill to Old Town Alexandria; where he lives; to Chevy Chase/Silver Spring and everywhere in between.  Geoff has sold homes in all price ranges from $99,000 one bedroom condos to $5.5 million estates and successfully represented both buyers and sellers. 

Geoff is actively involved in the community.  He is the past chairman and current member of the community service arm of The Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR); and is a committee member of RPAC.  He is a member of GCAAR’s Board of Directors.   He has volunteered and participated in Rebuilding Together, Habitat for Humanity, Back to School collections, hat and glove drives, grant review proposals and other housing related issues.
