Mihira Karra is a real estate agent working in partnership with her colleague and full-time agent, Leyla Phelan.  Mihira has over seven years experience in real estate and is licensed in Virginia, where she also resides.  Mihira, the mother of two sons, works with the U.S. Agency for International Development.  Originally from India, Mihira received her two masters degrees and her doctorate from major U.S. universities and since then, has dedicated her career to helping men and women in developing countries.

Mihira's interest in real estate grew from her desire to help her friends. She helped them find homes and deal with mortgage lenders, and soon realized that she loved the process, so she got her real estate license. Since then, she has thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of finding people the right home at the right price, and in the right place. Mihira has found that her clients become friends and this makes her job doubly satisfying. She wants to do the best job of representing her buyers and sellers, so that they will feel free to come to her for advice and assistance at any time, and send her their friends and neighbors for the same first-class care she gives to everything she does.
