Leslie Suarez comes from a family of entrepreneurs; her mother and father both had businesses of their own in South Florida for over three decades. Growing up in Miami and having attended the University of Miami (the "U" for all those college football fans), she later moved to Spain and became interested in urban policy. When she moved to Washington, DC., Leslie got a Master's degree at George Washington University in Urban Policy.  Her career began at Freddie Mac working in Community Lending, followed by seven more years in the housing industry in the non-profit and for-profit worlds. After buying and selling properties for herself for three years, she started a career in real estate in 2002 after assisting a colleague with a transaction and realizing how much she enjoyed helping others meet their financial goals.

 

 Leslie has successfully worked with a wide range of clients and customers including first-time homebuyers, developers, empty-nesters downsizing to downtown apartments, DC natives and international clients. She has sold houses, condos and co-ops in all areas of Metro DC. Leslie has also been the recipient of the "Agent of the Year" for 2006 at her previous firm and says, "Reaching that goal is a testament of my commitment to my clients and the communities I serve. Leslie lives in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC with her two beagles and frequent out-of-state and country visitors who love to tour the nation's capital. She serves as a board member of Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care, Inc. located in the Shaw community, and as an active member in the Columbia Heights Business District Association.
