A 5th generation Washingtonian, Melanie Friedson has lived all over the world feeding a passion for helping others. Before beginning her career in real estate in DC and after graduating from Boston University, she taught English in Buenos Aires, Argentina, worked for non-profits stateside and served in the Peace Corps in North Africa.

Ultimately, however, she decided there's no place like home especially if that home is in the District. Melanie and her family have been involved in real estate in the DC area for many generations and she is proud to continue the legacy through her own passion. It has been firmly engraved in her mind that "real estate is the best investment one can make to better his/her life."

Currently she can be found in her own NorthWest condominium, taking in the amazing energies of DC from Meridian Park to Adams Morgan to Dupont Circle to Penn Quarter. Melanie is warm, approachable, personable, and honest. A true believer in the importance of home-ownership, she is her clients' best advocate in helping to analyze their goals to maximize their investments and realize their dreams.
