Ellen has lived in Washington, D.C. since 1980 and after years of touring neighbors’ open houses and accompanying friends when they return to houses for second looks, decided to join the real estate profession in 2011.  To this career, Ellen brings 15 years of Federal Budget experience and a warm interest in working with people.

Ellen has broad knowledge of the Washington area, having raised three sons who attended both public and private schools and participated in extracurricular activities with friends throughout the region. 

Clients find Ellen honest, enthusiastic and hard working.  She is willing to do leg work and research to ensure that her clients get the best service, from first contact through settlement. Working as a member of the Hammond Team, Ellen has access to Nancy and David’s 18 years of experience and expertise in real estate.
